Dear Students,
This letter contains important information that must be accurately followed for a smooth Re-registration or enrolment process.
Tuition fees: From Summer semester 2007 to Winter semester 2011/2012 general tuition fees of 500,-€ per semester for undergraduate Bachelor and Diploma students as well as consecutive Master students were raised. This statute was annulled at the end of the Winter semester 2011/2012. Therefore this semester only the administration fee of 40 € and the student welfare contribution of 37 € (total amount 77 €) must be paid.
The tuition fee for the non-consecutive Master programmes “Business Consulting”, “Executive Master of International Business Management”, “International Business Management” and “Sales & Service Engineering” must still be paid via bank transfer (see Fee Notification). New matriculation certificates can only be downloaded after processing by the Student Affairs Department at https://studi-portal.hs-furtwangen.de.
The payment of tuition fees for all other study programmes must take place online via direct debit
(generally 77 €).
For payment and re-registration please log on to https://studi-portal.hs-furtwangen.de with your HFU account as from 30 January 2012. After that date you will find a new menu point “Payment and Re-registration” under the “My course” tab. After calling up this menu point, the system calculates your current status and your due payments and lists them for you to check. If your status or the amount due is incorrect please contact the Student Affairs Department. You will find a form with fields for putting in your bank details in the lower part of the page. After putting in and confirming your data by means of “Continue” you will be re-registered at once. You can then download and print out your new matriculation certificates. Please inform the Student Affairs Department immediately if the system has not placed you into the correct curriculum semester (subject semester).
Important: Please note that your account will only be debited after approximately 10 days and you must check that sufficient funds are available on your account during this period. Otherwise the fees cannot be debited from your account. With a return debit note from the bank, additional bank fees will occur. In this case a second direct debit is not possible.
If you start a practical semester in summer semester 2012, you must complete the form “Information on internship Furtwangen”, “Information on internship Tuttlingen ” or Information on internship Villingen-Schwenningen and send it to the Student Affairs Department at your location (Furtwangen, Tuttlingen or VS-Schwenningen) before the start of the semester (01.03.2012).
If you start a study semester abroad in summer semester 2012, you must complete the form “Application for a study semester abroad” and have it approved by the International Center (Akademisches Auslandsamt) and the Dean’s Office (Studiendekan) before the start of the semester (by 01.03.2012).
