Business Management and Psychology (Bachelor)
Bachelor of Arts
Thank you for your interest in our new degree programme - Business Management and Psychology
The Business Management and Psychology (BMP) Bachelor degree programme is a business degree with a psychology focus, and not vice versa. A fundamental understanding of psychology is basically a prerequisite in many areas of business. On the other hand, a grounding in business studies is extremely useful in the field of applied business psychology. This degree programme is designed for those who are planning a career in business and who also have a deep interest in psychology.
We prepare our graduates for exciting tasks in a wide range of business settings, for example in Marketing and Personnel Management, but also in Finance. Graduates can also continue to study on a consecutive Master's programme, either in the area of business or in psychology.
The programme is highly practice-oriented. What distinguishes it from most other business psychology degree programmes is that it prepares graduates for the working world, rather than for an academic career. Our teaching staff have many years of practical experience in the workplace.
As well as the work-focused combination of business studies and psychology, we also offer an highly international learning environment, which supports innovation, individual respect and high academic standards.
This new degree programme will be offered for the first time in summer semester 2017.
If you have any further questions related to the programme which are not answered here, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Prof. Dr. Armin Trost.
