A warm welcome to our new students!

The summer semester 2024 starts on 18 March and we'll be offering special introductory events for our first semester students.

The central programme for all new students and the links to the faculty programmes can be found on this page.
In addition to the official welcome at the university, you can also visit our "Market of Opportunities", where you'll not only find lots of information about university life, but also get food vouchers for your first visit to the canteen!

General information

Our first semester welcome events take place at your respective study location.

The room names show you where to go - first to the right building, then to the right floor. For example, you will find room B 1.14a in Furtwangen in Building B, on the second floor.

  • 3.00pm Student Union (AStA) presentation with distribution of first semester bags (Auditorium: B 1.14a) followed by city rally
