FIPS


The Furtwangen Internship Placement Service (FiPS) is a placement service run by Furtwangen University for internships in Germany, supported since 2013 by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation. FiPS organizes paid internships with companies in Baden-Württemberg for university and college students in Canada and the USA. In return HFU students receive free study places. I.DEAR Ingenieure Deutschland - Argentina


The bilateral "I.DEAR – Ingenieure Deutschland–Argentina" exchange programme supports the mobility of German and Argentinian engineering students. Furtwangen University and the internationally reknowned University of Buenos Aires in Argentina are partners in the programme. Further information on the programme can be found here.

DAAD-PROGRAMME UNIVERSITY DIALOGUE WITH THE ISLAMIC WORLD


The CICTI project - German-Iranian-Jordanian Cooperation to Improve the Connection of Technical Universities with the Industry, encourages cultural dialogue with the Islamic world through specialist cooperative ventures. The aim of the project is to strengthen the specialist and cultural exchange between German, Iranian and Jordanian students and young scientists. DAAD-SPECIAL PROGRAMME FOR MEXICAN STUDENTS


Furtwangen University is a partner in the special German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) programme for Mexican students of natural and engineering sciences. The goal of the special programme is enable advanced Mexican science and engineering students to take a one year exchange and internship stay. The stipendees study for one semester at a German university followed by a four to five-month industry internship. Further information regarding the DAAD special programme can be found here.

MALAYSIA UNIVERSITY PROGRAMME


Furtwangen University is actively involved in the Malaysia university programme supported by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Science, Research and the Arts. The programme which has been offering students from Malaysia the opportunity to take an engineering bachelor's degree taught in German at a university in Baden-Württemberg since 1997, is coordinated by the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). ENGINEERING STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM


Furtwangen University offers a regular summer school for engineers in cooperation with the San Diego State University, USA. The American students attend mechanical engineering lectures on the Furtwangen Campus, visit companies in the area and gain a deep understanding of German culture.
