Lecturing at HFU
We are priviledged to welcome many visiting professors to Furtwangen University each semester. The lectures add an international element to our curriculum and the exchange programmes also support the cooperation between partner universities. The organizational process usually takes place through the faculties themselves in cooperation with the International Center.
The following programmes are available:
- ERASMUS+ Personal mobility for Teaching Purposes Programme
To take advantage of this programme, first check whether your home university has an ERASMUS cooperation with HFU and whether a lecturer exchange programme has been agreed. The financial procedures are also carried out over your home university. To finalize the details of your visit, please contact the International Center and/or the relevant HFU faculty. The duration of the Erasmus visiting lecturer programme is normally between 2 days and 2 months.
- HFU -"Visiting Professorship" Programme
Every year HFU offers 2 international visiting professorship positions for a period of one year. The aim is to expand the range of lectures offered in English. Vacant positions are posted here.
- HFU - "International Semester" Visiting Professorships
As part of our International Semester programme for exchange and guest students, we invite lecturers from our partner universities to visit HFU for short periods of one to two weeks to give lectures. If you are interested, please contact the International Semester coordinators:
