Campus Day is hosted jointly by the HFU Business School, the Faculties of Mechanical and Medical Engineering (MME) and Medical and Life Sciences (MLS), and the HFU Business School student organisation, Business Talks. Experts from both trade and industry are on hand to give lectures and workshops in both English and German on current developments and career prospects in their fields.
Recruiters from many companies and business organisations in southern Germany attend the fair and will be available to discuss job and internship offers as well as topics for Bachelor's and Master's theses. Normal lectures from 9.00am on are cancelled to allow students to take advantage of this opportunity and to meet with the representatives from the various firms at their stands.
The fair will be held on the ground floor of A building, all floors of E building and in F building, including the library. This year a professional photographer will also be available in the F building from 9.00am to 5.00pm to take photos for application documents. Business dress is required. A tombola will be held at 3.00pm in the courtyard outside D building, or if it is raining, in Room E0.02.
This year the theme of the Business Talks event is the real stories behind business. Topics covered will be: Change management, Risk management, Expectation Management, Leadership in 21st century, Resource Scarcity. There will be two panel discussions this year, one of which will focus on women in business. In the HFU Stars panel discussion, once again Business School alumni will talk about their career development and give current students an insight into their experiences in the business world.
