General information

Given Germany's increasing economic relations with Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America and the growing importance of Spain within the EU, Spanish-language skills are becoming more and more important for establishing a successful future career. The Language Centre (LC) provides both individual courses (Spanish 1, 2, and 3) and intensive courses (Spanish 1 + 2 and 3 + 4), offering different routes to acquiring these skills.

Basic and Advanced courses

After completing the Basic courses (Spanish 1-4), participants receive an internal HFU certificate.
Participants can also expand their skills by taking further advanced courses so that they are well prepared for university studies or an integrated internship in a Spanish-speaking country. These courses prepare participants for an examination conducted by the Spanish Embassy.
Lessons are focused on communication and take an activity-based approach that introduces students to grammatical structures. Exercises for improving listening skills and managing everyday situations prepare students for a stay abroad.
