Designing the future of media

There are many media study programmes, but our Media Design Bachelor programme was the first to focus on the design of digital media. As the first university in Germany to offer such a course, HFU was once again ahead of the crowd. Communications media have become highly complex systems which are now more interactive, collaborative and creative. Classic mass media, internet media and mobile applications are combined to meet the needs of increasingly demanding target groups. Integrated communication and cross-media, microtargeting and Web 2.0, interactive storytelling and scenography, and planning and marketing design are just some of the areas looked at in this innovative study programme.
