The goal of the Master's in Security & Safety Engineering programme is to provide specialist knowledge in the general field of security and safety engineering, although specialization in a particular area is also possible. This master's degree programme prepares graduates to deal with complex and multidisciplinary security tasks. The programme is also designed to help students develop outstanding decision-making abilities and leadership qualities.
The master's programme is now being discontinued. Graduates of the Bachelor in Security & Safety Engineering programme and those with similar qualifications and a background in engineering or natural sciences can now apply for the new Master in Risk, Reliability and Safety Engineering programme which starts in summer semester 2018.
