Establishing a support network through the digital networking of counselling and support services

The SONIA project was successfully set up in the Rauner area of Kirchheim unter Teck as an online community for the elderly. The connection of real social groups by virtual means through the networking of contacts, communication of information and joint activities, ensures the social integration of elderly people in their direct community.

Building on these already established structures, the SONIAnetz project aims to develop new ways to support people who need help, provide relief for the families who care for them and to make social participation possible. The existing platform will be improved and the support and care network will be expanded.
